Subject: A band from the 70's that just came back!

Written By: poconut on 02/21/03 at 05:26 p.m.

Poco just came out with their album ‘Running Horse.’ And it’s quite a refreshing album indeed. All you Poconuts out there know that the band broke up after ‘Legacy,’ but Rusty Young (the only remaining original member at the time) and Paul Cotton (now a 32-year veteran) has welcomed back original drummer George Grantham and recruited Jack Sundrud to play bass for their record ‘Running Horse.’ There’s nothing like hearing these guys again. It’s unbelievable. They’re selling ‘Running Horse’ on www.poconut.com for now, but I think they’re working on making the album more widely available, and hope that they do well because these guys really deserve it.
If you guys plan on buying the album or check out their site, please sign the petition to get Poco into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame! They’ve been overlooked far too long, and I would really like to see them get the credit that they deserve!

For all of you that are not familiar with Poco, there's a full version of one of their songs at mp3.com. It's called 'One Tear At A Time,' from their most recent album. Take a listen, it's good stuff.
