Subject: I need the artist for the following song

???

Hello,

Does anyone know who recorded the song "Superfly vs. Shaft? It was from either late 1972 or early 1973 and it was a comedy song where they ask questions and answer with pieces of songs from that time.

Thanks, Rita

Are you thinking of Superfly Meets Shaft, Dickie Goodman, 1973?

:D

I think that is it. It starts off with, "We interrupt this program to bring the following announcement, Superfly is missing". I thought it was called Superfly vs. Shaft.
