At least they're doing a real decade this time! The 80s sucked worse than I do on a sucker! But then again, it's fun to make fun of A Flock of Seagulls and Corey Hart. :P

Alright, the real music, IMO, ended on NYE 1979. That was the first real death of rock and roll until Nirvana resurrected it in 1991.

Pink Floyd, Styx, Zeppelin, Yes, and a bunch of other dudes had some really cool and now-classic albums back then.

Well, in my opinion real music i.e good music was around before the 70s, but 1979 signelled the start to the best era of music in my opinion. The 80s contained some of the best artists ever, and I just wished that I got to live through the whole of the deacde to witness it first hand.
