Subject: Star Guitar man Gerry Shephard RIP

Written By: misterbeck on 05/18/03 at 07:57 p.m.

May 6th 2003, the British pop star Gerry Shephard died.
Many of you in the USA might not know who he is, but you've heard his music.
His unique star shaped guitar is loud and proud on the Gary Glitter anthems "Rock n roll" (parts 1&2), "Do You Wanna Touch" and other number one Glitter records.

Gerry may be gone but the power of his star guitar lives on !

That is very sad news misterbeck - couldn't have been barely in his fifties, which is no age to go...

Of course, with the Glitter connection, he was also a prime mover in the Glitter Band, who in their own right were very successful both in the UK and on the continent...
