Subject: Saturday morning sci-fi

Written By: Butterball on 05/30/03 at 09:42 p.m.

Remember those saturday morning sci-fi movies? Mostly B-movies or less. One movie that comes to mind that I can't remember the name...It was sort of like a comedy, but it had two astronauts on a strange planet of women. (amazon women?) All I can remember is boulders rolling down a hill, and tree people. At the end of the movie the astronauts kiss the women and sparks actually fly. Our saturday morning sci-fi matinee was called the "World Beyond".

There were lots of those movies on Saturdays.  I remember the Brain that Wouldn't Die....with the woman's head kept alive, etc.  I mean, I still love those movies even though they're considered corny.
