Subject: Clay Head and dragon mystery

There was a show that had a clay head that never talked, but mumbled to the other characters. I only remember a dragon that breathed smoke from his nose. Any one remember the show????
the face had paper eyes that were changed to match the situation, and the clay was a gray color. I think they also added hats, etc, but there wasn't a body.
