With the talk about Dawn dolls, and Little Kiddles, I wonder if anyone remembers Flatsy dolls. The small ones were kind of cute but the bigger ones were a bit on the funny looking side.

"We're flat and that's that, and that's that" ~ That is how the commercial jingle for Flatsie dolls went. I had one - the big ones which were like about 6 or 7 inchs. I don't remember them being any larger or smaller. I had one in , I believe either 1968 or 1969. It had blond hair and rubber body.

Great memories ! :D

I remember that jingle. I also remember one with green hair and one with pink hair.

I was going to post that very thing today.  I was thinking about the Flatsie Dolls.  They were fun.  I had the Flatsie Doll with dark brown hair.  Does anyone recall how many Flatsies there were?

There were quite a few. According to my sister's books Collector's Guide to Dolls of the 1960s and 1970s (ok, had to get a plug in there  ;)) she has a lot listed and they came in 4 different sizes. I only remember the two different sizes.
