Subject: Footsies

Does anyone remember these? There was a ring on one end that you put your foot into it. Then there was a string/cord like thingy and at the end of that, was a cup. You swing the thing around your foot (sort of like a hoola hoop) and you kept jumping over the cup.

Think they still make 'em Cat - well, my youngest niece has one! A bit of a more jazzed-up version, obviously!  I think I vaguely remember my sisters having 'em - whether I was cajoled into trying it out, I don't know! I'd've probably ended up in the local out-patients if I had...

I forgot about Footsies.  I had several of them.  It was fun.  I would challenge myself.  I would see how many time I could skip over the ball.  I love Footsies.  I probably could use a Footsie now.  It's good exercise.

I think they were also known as "Skip-it" or the version that I had, "Lemon Twist"...it had a black plastic cord and ring you put around your ankle, and a plastic lemon on the end.

I did see them at Walmart, I think they have lights inside now.
