Dartsattack welcome to the boards.

As for Darts, they were a brilliant band from the 70s. I loved stuff like 'Come back my love','Duke of Earl' (a better version of Gene Chandlers classic),'Runaround' and 'Whose that knocking'.

You have great taste Dartsattack, have you heard the improvised piano classic 'One off the wrists'? It is a brilliant piece of Boogie Woogie.  :D

Darts bettering Mr Chandler? Noooooooooo....

Actually, they were very good, bringing authentic doo-wop to the UK mainstream, and occasionally slipping in a completely obscure tune to boot...i.e., "Daddy Cool" and the aforementioned "Come Back My Love" - should really have deserved a few years more success, but their style was somewhat limited...

Yeah I know. I just feel that Darts fleshed this song out a little more as Gene's (already great) song was a little flat for me.

Rarely do I say that a cover version rocks but in this case, Paul I'm going to make an exception. The song even includes a car zooming by (I think) - not heard since Mungo Jerry's 'In the Summertime'.
