Subject: ElectraWoman & DynaGirl

I recently got a video of this show, with the 1st 2 episodes. This show aired from 1976-77 as part of the "Krofft SuperShow", and starred Deidre Hall as ElectraWoman.
I guess one thing that is annoying about it is that every villain does this cackling, wicked-witch-of-the-west laughter incessantly throughout the show.
Other than that, it's an allright show.

Oh my god, I remember Shazaam & Isis!  And I remember that dune buggy cartoon too!  Didn't it always sputter a lot when it talked.  Like it was always trying to gather up courage or strength.  I think it was called "Speed Buggy".

I Googled "Krofft Supershow" and got this URL with many shows I used to watch but had completely forgotten.

Around the same time I remember seeing a show that had this family that would drive around in a silver space vehicle resembling a Winnebago, but they were on another planet exploring and of course got into the usual danger.  ;)  Any ideas on that one? <shrug>

Here's a link for sound bites of the Shazaam and Isis show plus a whole bunch of others that really take me back to a time I think the best cartoons came out:

(You need Quicktime to play the sounds).

Sorta takes ya back to some fond memories, eh.  :)

That would be Wonderbug.  It changed from a rusty old car named "Schlepcar" into Wonderbug.  It was real-life looking.  When it changed, the new car looked like a glittery pillow on the hood and front bumper.  Cheesy, but really cool when you're 8.

Speed Buggy was a Hanna-Barbera cartoon.

I liked them both. And I was about that age, too.  Hanna-Barbera had a lot of great cartoons.   :D
