Subject: Looking for a Movie

Written By: Hummingbird on 11/09/03 at 11:18 a.m.

I found this message board looking to find a movie that was out in the mid to late 70's. A song that played in it, I believe is by Donna Summers. Some of the words are: Someone read the letter you wrote me on the radio, it said you be coming home real soon, it must have fallen out of a hole in your old brown overcoat.....

If anyone knows what the movie is please message back.
Thankyou!   :)

Whoa, Disco!! One of my fave subjects. :)

The name of the movie is:

Thank God It's Friday
The movie was released in 1978 by Columbia Pictures.

Starring:

Jeff Goldblum (Jurassic Park)
Debra Winger (Urban Cowboy, An Officer And A Gentleman)
Terri Nunn (Berlin singer)

Performing Artists:

Donna Summer
The Commodores with Lionel Richie

It has an excellent Disco soundtrack.

The movie is cheesy, but good fun for those who really miss those Disco days. It's definitely a nostalgia trip.
