Subject: Talking Guitar

Written By: n-Somnia on 12/07/03 at 04:48 p.m.

I've been trying to find a particular song.  It's that one (performed live?) where the artist has the "talking guitar" effect.  All I know about it so far is that it was from the '70s...and I "think" it may be Peter Frampton?

Any ideas?  ???

It was Frampton, and he did this wah wah electronic talking thing, made me sick if he did it too much.

I had a listen for that song, and it's not the same song - BUT it was a song I hadn't heard in a long time. :)

As for the one I'm looking for, I do remember that it was kind of a slow song - probably a long one too.  Possibly a song with just the guitar...maybe accompanied by another instrument?  I can't remember.  What I do know is that a few TV shows or movies that have something to do with the 70s or 80s have played a part of the song in it.  All I've been saying may be wrong after all, seeing as I haven't really heard the full song before.  So don't take my word for it, hehehe.

You guys are thinking of the great live number "Do you feel like we do"  He talks to the audience through his guitar effects.

I believe you have found the right one!  It's like I mentioned before - possibly long.  And it is, hehehe.  I wasn't too sure about it at first, as I hadn't heard the entire song before.  But then the long bit in the middle, the part I remember came on.

Thank you for the help!  And to all the others that did their bit as well.   :D
