im wracking my brain (i dont know why, really),, a show , the theme song was bonnie tyler's 'looking for a hero', the main actor was this hunk who was a spy? or something; the show was cancelled after he put a gun to his head, and it had a bullet in it (accident)
anyon remember this?

Sounds like you are talking about Jon-Erik Hexum who died by accidentally shooting himself in the mid-80's.  I think the show was called "Cover Up", and had something to do with the CIA and fashion models?

Jon-Erik Hexum was also in a show, it was a time traveler show, I can't remember the name of it but he had a partner, a young boy.

If I remember correctly, the gun had blanks in it, but it still had enough firepower to kill him.

I remember hearing that, too.  I believe the gun was held at point-blank range, which would explain why the 'prop gun' killed him.  Very sad.  :(

It was very sad.  I know I cried.  He was very handsome and had beautiful eyes.
