Subject: Does anyone remember Jordan??

Written By: Rio_Rhodes on 01/09/04 at 06:15 p.m.

To anyone who doesn't know who Jordan is, she was Malcolm McClaren's protege for his SEX store in London in the late 70s.
She was essentially one of the first punks and gained a lot of recognition when Johnny Rotten stripped her onstage at a show.

She was also the vocals on Adam and the Ants song "Lou". She managed the Ants for a short time in the 70's while she also dated Adam, who still talks about her to this day, along with anyone else who was completly fascinated by her. If I could find a picture of her, a lot of people might remember who she was.

I was just wondering about her because I was watching Jubilee the other day and I couldn't get over how serious she was about everything in that movie! But then again, that was also what made her so intriguing!

I know she is a veterinary assistant nowadays but if anyone else knows anything about her, post it, whether it be what she does know or how she was then.

I think this is an interesting topic that I haven't seen anywhere yet.I hope it takes off!!

I've heard of Jordan, but nothing much more.  I know that McLaren's original name for Boy George was "Lieutenant Lush," in Bow Wow Wow for a brief stint Annabella Lwin.  Lwin is Burmese, her real name was Myant Myant Aye.  Who could ask for a better stage name than that?  Anyway, this belongs more on the '80s board....

Actually, Jordan was strictly in the late 70s. She kind of tapered off in the early 80s because new wave was coming in and she had said that being a punk just wasn't a challenge anymore.
