Subject: Who remembers Mason Reese?

Written By: Stevie B. on 01/27/04 at 03:07 p.m.

He was a short child actor with red hair and a wrinkled face. He made dozens of tv commericals in the 70's for Underwood Devil's Food Ham,Dunkin Donuts, and various other food products. I saw him interviewed on a talk show in the late 1980's,and he seemed like a real nice guy. I heard he has appeared on the Howard Stern show, too. But I never saw those episodes. I read a newspaper interview he did in the early 90's,and he mentioned that he feels like he is getting old. This is because there is a whole new generation of people who don't know who he is. But those of us who grew up in the 70's remember him. I remember kids in my kindergarten class imitating his Devil Food Ham catchphrase,"Gorgasmord!" LOL! Who remembers Mason Reese? Thanks for the memories!  ;D Sincerely,Steve.

I remember him.  Man, that kid looked gross.  And for a kid to look ugly they gotta try exta-hard because of the "cute factor".

Mason Reese would make a locomotive take a dirt road.

I couldn't find a photo of Mason Reese.  Here is a painting of him  It will give everybody a rough idea of what he looked like back in the 70's. If you want to see a real photograph of him,get the book "Retro Hell" by Darby Romeo. It is a wonderful book about growing up in the 70's and 80's,and all the fashions, fad, movies,tv shows, and urban legends popular during those two decades. Thanks for the memories! Sincerely,Steve. Yep,that's Mason. Back in the 70's I used to get him confused with Danny Bonaduce, the red haired boy from the Partridge Family tv show. And from what I heard Danny say in the interview practically everybody he met as a teen, made the same mistake.http://www.imdb.com/gallery/mptv/1064/Mptv/1064/5418-0011.jpg?path=pgallery&path_key=Bonaduce,%20Danny  Thanks for the memories!
