Subject: '70's Celebrities that have aged well

Written By: woops on 02/19/04 at 01:40 a.m.

Acedemy Award winning actress Sally Field looks great for her age. She's in her mid 50's.

Is there other celebs from the '70's you can think of that have aged well.

I would say John Schneider. I know Dukes Of Hazzard was more of an 80's show but it did come out in 1979. And he definitely looks good for his age! :-* ;D

Linda Blair, from "The Excorist", also looks good for her age.
I think she's in her early 40's.

I don't know that I'd necessarily call it "aging well", but when I saw Morgan Fairchild in those Old Navy commercials after such a long absence from television; I know that I for one wanted to know her secret (even if it is the number to her plastic surgeon)!!!!   :-X

I'd say Kirsty Alley has aged well, though she's a bit of joke doing commercials for I can't remember what.
John Ritter WAS aging quite well, but then it was curtains for him all of a sudden.  Very sad.  I was always a fan.

I saw Carrie Fisher recently, she looks like hell.

Alan Ruck still looks like Cameron, even though he's in his late 40s.  That's right, when they made "Ferris Bueller," he was 30 years old!  Didn't look it, did he?

I'm agreeing with these. David Bowie still looks excellent. It made me forget how long he's been in the entertainment business for.

Speaking of Sally Field, I saw the polka dot dress she wore on one of the "Legally Blonde II" release party  things on the "Rico Suave" (Gerardo) video  on "MTV 25 Lame".

Atleast she didn't wore the day glo from "Wake Me Up Before You Go Go" video.  ::)

Yo Max and Howard, Jim Varnay was a regular at a local restaurant called Charlie Browns here in Lexington.  He would show up in a limo and sit at the bar, he looked good, blended in with the crowd, and was an all-round nice guy.

You're talking about KY, right?
Oh, that reminds me, no one seems to know what the KY in KY jelly stands for.  One theory:
KY stands for Kentucky, 'cuz it's finger lickin' good!
That joke gets less and less funny as the '70s KFC slogan recedes farther into the past.

I gotta put my vote in for Bowie too - last night on stage he looked awesome.  Fit, sprightly, didnt slow down all night, and grinned like he was having the time of his life.  The man will never grow old !!  At 57 he looks like he has begun his 30's again - and his having way more fun this time around.
