I have been looking for the old style tube socks from the 70's all over the net. If you can find any site, they are really expensive. I finally found one the other day at www.skatersocks.com. They only sell the old styles of striped tube socks from the 70's. I finally found what i was lookng for and wanted to share it here! They are really nice and I am looking forward to their new styles. Do any of you here like these socks from the 70's ? I used to wear them all the time as a child and now my childhood memories are back.

I had those white tube socks with the colored stripes at the upper end.  My mom didn't bother to match them when she did the laundry, so I often wore them "mismated."  I didn't care.

How about those toe socks that fit like gloves, with each toe being a different color? And remember LEG WARMERS?

Toe socks?  Sounds like a good agent for athlete's foot!
:P
Didn't legwarmers go along with the Jane Fonda workout videotape?  I associate legwarmers with well-toned middle-aged women (no, I'm not going to use a certain acronym here) wearing leotards and doing aerobics.  Why did anybody need legwarmers for aerobics?  Did Jennifer Beals wear legwarmers in "Flashdance."  Can't remember.  "Flashdance" influenced trends in apparel, but I was kinda disappointed the welder's helmet never came into vogue!
