Subject: Does anyone remember Patches and Pockets?

I think the show came out of Detroit. It was on early in the morning and it starred two women who were dressed similar to Raggedy Ann and Andy and wore clown makeup. I remember the Andy character was always putting her shoe on her head to help her think. It was really weird but I loved it.  :)

YES! It came out of Toledo actually. I used to love that show.  I live in california and people think I am nuts when I talk about it.  I have been searching the net for information about the show. In fact you can read a really good article about "Pockets" at http://www.authorsden.com/visit/viewarticle.asp?AuthorID=6783&id=

Thanks for the article! I grew up in Toledo and my earliest TV memories are of the Patches and Pockets show. I wish they were available on video!  ;D ;D ;D
