Subject: Priscilla Penny, Did I make you up or what?

Written By: ricco on 03/26/04 at 09:10 p.m.

Please help.  I have a lyric fragment in my head sung to a generally descending melody and it goes like this:  "Priscilla Penny, Quite a name, Are you sure you didn't make it up yourself."  I thought it was a Beatles song, but that doesn't appear to be the case.  Everyone I ask seems to think I'm the one who made it up.  Surely someone remembers the song or group or SOMETHING! Slowly losing my marbles....

I THINK THE CORRECT NAME WAS "Drucilla PENNY"..and it was RICHARD CARPENTER..remember he sang it on one of their albums?....it was sort of a compilation..leading to another song...
Hope that helps..
