I just saw over on the TV Land website that Partridge Family matriarch Shirley Jones is 70 years old today! Can you believe it?
Even though I was still a baby when the show originally aired on ABC, I started watching reruns of it when I was about 5 and fell in love with Keith Partridge.
As I've mentioned in another post, I recently purchased a Partridge Family lunchbox on EBay with a matching thermos that I will cherish always.

She looks great for being 70 and can still sing wonderfully. I used to have one of their album "Up To Date" that listed all of their birthdays. I remembered Shirley Jones being the March 31st (don't ask why)-I also remember William Daniels of Boy Meets World also celebrating a birthday today (again, don't ask why I remember that).

Did you know that Shirley Jones was named after Shirley Temple? A few years ago A & E was doing a biography about her and her son Shaun Cassidy was saying that when they interviewed him.

More Shirley Jones trivia: Shirley is a member of the Jones family that owns and operates Jones Brewery in Smithton, Pennsylvania. They brew Stoney's Beer. :P ;D
