Subject: We can do disco?

Written By: Kevin B on 04/10/04 at 07:14 a.m.

Does anyone remember a song that contained the line:

"We can do disco, we can do punk, we can do anything"

It also had a line containing:

"the rolling of the stones"

It was a song by a male lead in a false East Indian accent.  I thought it might have been Frank Zappa, but I have never been able to confrim that.  If I remember correctly, the premise of the song was a telephone call to a band in India who would play any style of music to get a recording contract.  It was quite humorous.
