i am looking for the words to a song called WILDFIRE it is a bout a horse if you have these please email me them and if you ever need help just ask thanks for all of those who help me

This was one of my favorite songs (KINDA depressing though) and I vividly remember the lyrics (I'll e-mail them to you). After you reading your request I wanted to track down the guitar chords for it. But lo and behold, I've forgotten the singers name! I'm sure his first name was Michael and that his last name begins with a "M". If anyone knows, please post it.

ok.....Wildfire(about a horse)......Michael Martin Murphey...for sure...found it at Amazon.com....

Wildfire - Michael Martin Murphey, I loved this song as a little kid (6). The song went to #3 in 1975. I still have the 45 somewhere.

A good site for lyrics, use link. They have the Top 40 Hits of 1930-1999.
