Subject: 70's icon Alice Cooper Is Still Rocking

Written By: James McDaniel on 4/16/2000 at 5:42 p.m.

Just wanted to let everyone know that 70's rock legend Alice Cooper is still out there and going strong. On Jume 6th he will have a new album called Brutal Planet and do a new worldtour going back to several of his 70's heyday theatrics. If you loved the Coop in the 70's, he still puts on a great show and is worth checking out. Hope you'll buy the new album and go see the new show this year. Also he released last year The Life and Crimes of Alice Cooper boxset which contains alot of the great 70's songs. Remember the Coop,eh?

Hi! I also am a Alice Cooper fan! Have you been to Cooper's Town in Phoenix? It is so cool! He lives here too! Along with Stevie Nicks and I think Rob Halford too because a while ago he was Grand Marshall in the Gay Parade. Which bummed me out when I read that. I mean he was in Judas Priest! Ya know. Sorry I'm off the subject. But YES, Cooper still rocks!!!!

Hi, thanks for the response. Alice is still a great performer and I hope the new album will do well. Once again it is called Brutal Planet and will be out June 6th. Plus Alice will be doing a stageshow said to be his most theatrical since the Welcome To My Nightmare days. To answer your questions. No,I haven't been to Cooperstown yet. To be honest I have never even been to Arizona. However I hope to vacation there this summer. I have heard nothing but good things about it. You are right about Rob Halford he does live in Arizona and I think Dave Mustaine from heavy metal band,Megadeth does too. While and I don't want to step on anyone's toes personally agree with Halford's lifestyle I still enjoy the classics he sang with Judas Priest. He is one of the greatest singer's ever. In clsing, you mentioned Stevie Nicks. You know what would be totally cool? Think about her voice, and I love Stevie Nicks and Alice's voice. Would that not make for a great duet? Love to see that or I always thought Joan Jett would be cool to duet with Alice as well. Thanks for the reply and hope you will check out the new album. Take care.

I do agree about his lifestyle but Rob Halford is an excellent singer and Stevie Nicks is like the greatest! I have been singing a lot of her songs starting when I was little listening to Rumours w/ my big sister. "Not to brag, but many people say I sound like her! What a compliment!!!!!!!! Arizona is beautifull you should visit this state! I'll be waiting for Coopers new stuff. ~Jenny
