Subject: Horse in Striped Pajamas
We used to have a 45 with the song "Horse in Striped Pajamas" sung by Captain Kangaroo and Mr. Greenjeans. My sister and I gave away our old records when we were teenagers but now would like to sing it to our daughters! BUT WE CAN'T REMEMBER THE WORDS! Does anyone know this one? Mr. Greenjeans: "Say there, Captain, did you see? There's a horse in striped pajamas" Captain: "No, that's not what it is at all, that's and animal people call a zebra." Greenjeans: "I see. But it still looks like a horse in striped pajamas to me." Etc. There are more animals and more verses, but we can't remember.
