Subject: Brady's V.S. Partridge's

Written By: Mark J. Erdman on 6/16/2000 at 6:37 p.m.

Which was more popular? The Brady Bunch, or the Partridge family. Their sordid real life stories on VH1 are a bit of a shock, but no surprise. All of that money, and fame and they were miserable.

The Partridges were a lot more popular.Their show managed to make the year-end top-25 TV programs, which the Bradys never accomplished. Their records also sold better and they even managed a #1 hit and a couple other top 10 songs.

It's easy to see why. The Partridge Family cast was more talented and both their scripts and music were better written. Also, David Cassidy and Susan Dey pretty much win in the teen hearthrob department as well.

Thanks for the info. David Cassidy was one of the greatest teen heartthrobs of all time, no doubt about that, but Maureen McCormik and Susan Dey are close. It is said that Maureen, even at age 11, was turning guys heads. It's sad we get judged by our appearance, but thats how it is.
