Subject: Make A Wish

Written By: Rob on 6/22/2000 at 7:19 p.m.

Does anyone else remember a great children's show on the weekends called Make A Wish? Tom Chapin was the host, and each episode took you around the world and taught you about inventors, history, and science. He sang a theme tune that went "If you want it you can get it, but to get it you gotta want it, oh dream your dream, dreams come true, it could even work for you... so make a wish!" I would love to find these shows on VHS or DVD - are these available????

I remember this show too. It is really sad that a clean, decent, and moral program like this is not on the air today. The only program like it is Mr. Rojers Neighborhood, but that show is strictly for children. Today it is South Park, and The Simpsons that dominate. You would have to surf the net some more, or go to Blockbuster to see if you could find any more information on seeing the program again.
