Can anyone honestly say he or she ever requested this song from a radio station or bought the 45? How did this song spend 10 weeks at #1?

I bought the 45 and I loved the song. It was used as the theme to a love story. Who cares if she wrote or performed it for religious purposes???

It's 70s all the way.

Well I didn't mind this song too much, but I was wondering the same thing about Olivia Newton-John's song, "Physical". It also (unbelievably)spent 10 weeks at the top of the charts and I can't understand why. It's one of those songs that just grates on me!!!

At least I could say that "Physical" was a big workout song, so I could see its popularity. I don't think it deserved to be #1 as long as it did though either. She did look better than Debbie Boone ever did.
