Subject: We have lost two 70s Pop/Rock Stars
Lonesome Dave Peverett, lead singer of the group Foghat with hits SLOW RIDE, FOOL FOR THE CITY and I JUST WANT TO MAKE LOVE TO YOU has died of cancer.
And Oliver, who brought us hits like JEAN and GOOD MORNING STARSHINE has also died of cancer.

Wow, I didn't hear about Oliver!! When did he die? Geez, seems like everyone is dying from cancer these days. Scary! So sad to see these wonderful musicians go....

Oliver died this past weekend I believe. Very sad, yes most of the deaths in recent weeks has been due to cancer.

Very sad - I remember seeing Oliver sing in Charlotte many years ago. A very sweet man.
