Subject: Doobie Brothers:Behind The Music

Written By: james martin on 2/24/2001 at 12:36 a.m.

This Sunday, VH1 will do a BTM on one of the most popular bands of the 70's & 80's: The Doobie Brothers. I think it's about time to one on these guys because they left us with some of the best songs of the 70's. Some examples: "Listen To The Music", "Long Train Runnin'", "Black Water"(#1 SONG) , "Take Me In Your Arms(Rock Me A Little While)" My favorite one in the bunch. "Talkin' It To The Streets" & of course, their 4 time grammy award winning hits "What A Fool Believes" & "Minute By Minute". Let's not forget their hits "Real Love", "One Step Closer" & "The Doctor"(kinda sounds like their other 70's hit "China Grove"). What do you think?
