Subject: tv quote

I want to know from what show did the phrase "Handle it! Handle It!" come from. It was a sitcom based in the south and I think the man who said it was a "dippy" mayor or something. Please help.

That was Carter Country, starring Victor French as Chief Mobey and Richard Paul as "dippy" mayor Teddy Burnside. Both are dead now. You might remember Paul for his role as Jerry Fallwell in "The People vs. Larry Flynt".
