Subject: space sticks

So far you are the only person other than my sister and husband that can remember these things. We are a little off on the name. I thought that they were "food sticks"- totally generic but that's what I recall. They were a little larger than a pencil but not as large as a sharpie marker and came in a few flavors. But definitely were touted as food that Astronauts ate. I don't suppose that you know who manufactured them- General Mills? I'm glad that someone can finally substantiate to my mom, who claims she would never have bought such a thing. Anyway, would it be possible to also list this item under "food sticks"? It would lend more credibility to me. Thanks.

I too remember them, and for years I have been laughed at by the rest of my family for imagining them. According to MOM she never bought 'em... and brother says... never ate 'em.
Whew... I thought I was crazy as well....
