Even though this item of clothing is thought of a
80's garment In fact I remember wearing stirrup-pants in the late 70's, 78 etc.
I left bell bottoms for elastic and the comfort of hugging pants! Sorry!
I know they were not a huge hit at the time, but I remember seeing the odd pair around. I guess i was always ahead of the game.
By the mid 80's I was back in wide pants, when everyone else was wearing slim pants.
