ha! that's funny.. I can't believe how many people still remember that..

my recomendation to the original poster is to try ebay.com I get a ton of my Sears catalogs from there (yes, I've been collecting them, they're invaluable for working on my websites)

So have YOU gotten that infamous '75 Sears catalog through eBay, ChuckyG??? (What's it typically go for, anyway???) And what was all the fuss about again??? Refresh my memory...

If I'm not mistaken, on page 603 the page is of men's underwear and the model is apparently exposing his private parts…

it's like a $30-$40 issue.. I'm not trying to pick it up at all.. I've seen scans of it, and to me it just looks like a bad camera angle picking up on something else.. others will swear up and down it's really his privates..

I'm actually trying to get a fall/winter and a Wishbook from every year of the 1980s, and one from every decade for the last century. I'm only missing the 30's, 40's and 50's due to the reprints of earlier catalogs for the decade project, and about half of the Wishbooks, and three of the Fall/Winters.. I haven't been actively looking for the last few months, just because they take up a lot of room.. though the wishbooks are a total blast..

Geez, I had no idea there was a novelty single recorded as a result, too - I'd be curious to hear that one, LOL!

Man, you totally brought back some '70s memories for me when you mentioned those "Wishbooks" - I'd forgotten all about those! Each year back in the mid to late '70s, not long before Christmas, my mother would have me and my brother pick out various things that we wanted from that catalog, LOL!

Did everyone get to do that circling the "I want" list? I let my daughter do that with the Toys R Us Christmas catologue. She wanted more than 3k worth of toys. I remember totaling $700 in "79" and my parents thought I was greedy.
