You are referring to "Schoolhouse Rock". This was extremely popular and remains so today. "Schoolhouse Rock" videos started out in the 70s and were made until the 90s. Merchandise includes books, videos, and CDs. You can find many websites dedicated to "Schoolhouse Rock". Videos and CDs are readily available in stores (including a boxed CD set of all the songs for around $40.00). There's an excellent book called "Schoolhouse Rock: The Official Guide" written by Tom Yohe and George Newall. As you can tell,I'm really into "Schoolhouse Rock"!
