Subject: Graduation Party Set in 1970's

Written By: Dessiree on 6/10/2001 at 9:13 p.m.

I just want some basic culture for a Party that would have parents, etc that would take place in the 70's.

I am graduating high-school, and this saturday I will be throwing a Graduation Party that will be set in the 70's. (I absolutely love the 70's and I kinda want to "re-create" a party atmosphere, if that's possible)

If anyone has any suggestions for me for things such as food, clothing, door prizes, decorations, any such things, Please Please help me out. Thank you!

In the 70s we decorated everything with flowers and 'make love not war'make babies not bombs' peace symbols..the clothes would be fringed and or tie-dyed for food i would go with Bugles, brownies!! ! and chips and Twinkies oh and Taco Doritos. For a door prize I think the original Woodstock cd set would work. Have fun!
