Written By: ELAINE MCKENZIE on 7/14/2001 at 4:29 a.m.

HI! THIS IDEA MAY SOUND REALLY WEIRD TO SOME OF YOU OUT THERE. I WOULD REALLY LIKE TO COMPILE A LIST OF ALL THE BEAUTY PRODUCTS USED IN THE 70'S.DOES ANYBODY REMEMBER EARTH BORN SHAMPOO? HOW ABOUT " GEE, YOU'RE HAIR SMELLS TERRIFIC" OR TICKLE DEODERANT. THAT WAS THE STUFF THAT CAME IN 4 DIFFERENT SCENTS AND CAME IN REALLY FUNKY COLORS LIKE NEON ORANGE, BLUE, GREEN, AND PINK.ANYWAY, I AM SURE I AM FORGETTING LOTS OF OTHER COOL STUFF. IF ANYONE OUT THERE CAN THINK OF ANY OTHER BEAUTY PRODUCTS, PLEASE EMAIL ME AND MAYBE WE CAN WORK ON THIS TOGATHER.THANKS-ELAINE

Lets not forget Dippity Doo (although it came out earlier than the 70s). The big thing was Musk - which was put out by lots of companies. It went well with Ripple in a bag.

I loved my pink Dippity-Do--it was fun just to play with.I had the Lip Slicker Trolley- I thought it was wonderful. Remember when "Herbal Essences" was just "Herbal Essence" and had the girl and the flowers on the label?
