Okay...so I USED to like the Soaps...what were your faves from the decade of the 1970's.  I chose "One Life To Live"

Another World (though my mother mainly liked any NBC soap)

The only one I watched in the 70s-One Life to Live. I still watch it from to time but haven't seen it in months.

You don't need to watch them that often to keep up...I think a soap day lasts about a month!

I know my mother was heavily into All My Children and One Life to Live (which she passed on to me subconciously as I sat on my booster chair with her). I remember her also watching Ryan's Hope. She was definitely into ABC's soaps, while my babysitter watched CBS's soaps.

"The Doctors" Except for "Dark Shadows," it is the only daytime soap opera I watched daily. Actually, what I would do, since I had a portable, battery-operated TV, was I take my lunch hour, when the show was on, go down to where my car was parked, and eat lunch and watch the show in my car.
