Ther's not one song from his first album on here, imo that was his most accomplished work, followed by Sweet Baby James.

I voted "Fire and Rain" but I pretty much like anything that James does.  I saw him in concert last October in Phoenix.  It was fantastic to say the least!!

"You've Got A Friend".  Whatever radio station my parents tuned into when I first moved to Phoenix (1977) played J.T. ad nauseum, but I liked it.  ;D

Fire and Rain, followed by Your Smiling Face

I've never liked his version of Marvin Gaye's How Sweet It Is

He had a lot of big hits which I'm sure aren't listed here...but I like "How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved By You)" the best.

Oh I've see Fire and I've seen Rain, I've seen sunny days that I thought would never end, I've seen lonely times when I could not find a friend.

That would be my choice :)

It's too bad good ol' John David Souther didn't have more hits.  I know he had a few others, but I believe this was his biggest

I always hoped James Taylor would be a two hit wonder.  I liked Fire and Rain and Sweet Baby James, they are nice songs, but
can't really listen to him after that.

In addition, for me, "Handy Man" and "Fire & Rain" would be tied for a close second, along with "You've Got A Friend."
