These are the only ones I could think of offhand.  If anyone knows of anymore I can add, just let me know.  :)

My favorite of these is The Three Degrees.  They have beautiful voices!  :)

The 3-D's for me (although Sister Sledge had their moments...)

I can't think of many more either...but The Honey Cone made a couple of fine songs in the early 70's...
