Subject: The Best *Live* Albums Of The '70s

I was never a fan of live albums. What's the point of coming out with an album of songs that everyone has heard non-live for years. The songs too often sounded like they're just being done by a cover band. Easy money and huge egos were usually the reasons for a live album in the '70s. >:(
Prove me wrong if you like.
If you know of any good ones then list 'em. Or if you know of any bad ones list them too!
;) ;D

Thanks, RnRFan and AL-B.
The Cheap Trick LAB (who can forget "Surrender") and FCA albums are good examples of great live albums. Most people never heard of them or their songs until those albums. Same with REO Speedwagon.
How about a bad one...
Song Remains the Same - Led Zeppelin
;) ;D

Blue Oyster Cult - On your Feet On your Knees - 1975
The Allman Brothers Band - At the Fillmore East - 1971
The Band - The Band (in concert) Rock of ages - 1972
Thin Lizzy - Live and Dangerous - 1978
The Flying Burrito Brothers - The Last of the Red Hot Burritos - 1972
Live Bullet - Bob Seger - 1978
When a live recording captures the connection between a great band and a pumped up collection of that bands fans, there's nothing like it! Not to mention that it's nice to find out (as I said in the other post) that they (the bands) can produce what they do in the studio, in a live setting.
