Elvis Presley #1 Everyone since has been lame and without charisma. Today they "manufacture" stars- ANYBODY can be a star nowadays- just computerize thier vocals and thier looks don't matter (example- Kid Rock, Fat Rappers The creepy M. Manson and the homely M&M) They've finally dumbed us down that we now have a category for people with no talent it's called RAP (they left the C off the front-- CRAP)
Ronald Reagan -W could use his support in this wimpy liberal era. We are a great nation because men of thier stature take a stand for the home team no matter what the polls show or what panty waisted liberals want. They allowed God to lead them not foriegn UN pressures.
Dale Earnhardt - Racing isn't racing anymore, young rich guys say "running fifth is a good day" E use to say "second sucks". ALL the drivers will tell you who the best ever was- Hands down Earnhardt SR.
Nuff said.

I have too many choices to pick just three b/c the soul of the arts are basically vanishing. One choice would be John Lennon to see what he would have been doing now.

I was under the impression that this was about people who died in the 70's...so the wishes for John Ritter (2004), Tony Randall (2003), Ray Charles (2004)have got me quite perplexed ???

Elvis Presley #1 Everyone since has been lame and without charisma. Today they "manufacture" stars- ANYBODY can be a star nowadays

Elvis was sort of manufactured a bit as well, don't forget, he never wrote any of his songs, he simply perfromed them. His manager Col. Parker was trying to find a white singer with a "black" voice (similar to Vanilla Ice's situation). The Colonel also fired Elvis' back-up band and replaced them with those Pat Boone look-alikes that did "Don't Be Cruel"

John Bonham (okay, so he died in 1980, but because of him one of the greatest 1970's supergroups did not continue on into the 80's).

Marc Bolan

And the ability to travel to any year of the 1970's I wished at any time I wanted to, as often as I wanted to.

For me it must be these 3 just because I have good memories of most if not all of the songs they sung.

1      Marc Bolan
2      Sid Vicious
3      Elvis

John Lennon,he was the brains behind The Beatles,McCartney's such an a**hole!
John Bonham, cos Led Zep would still be around
Marc Bolan,he was the first star I went to see,and he was a star in every sense of the word.Limited ability but so much fun.
