Cracking group and no mistake...
I went totally against the grain with you, Mark...'The Rubberband Man' is the one I picked - mind you, all their stuff is classy...
For those who don't know, the group is (and probably always will be) known as The Detroit Spinners here, to avoid confusion with an age-old Scouse folk group...

I picked "other". My vote is "Games People Play". Kudos also to their minor hit, "Love Don't Love Nobody". But they have so many great songs!!!

But my all-time favorite Spinners song is from 1980 and it's called "Working My Way Back To You/Forgive Me, Girl". :)

The Spinners are one of my favorite artists.
It looks like most of us like the same ones. I like 'em in this order
1. I'll Be Around
2. Could It Be I'm Falling in Love
3. They Just Can't Stop It (The Games People Play)
4. Sadie
5. It's a Shame
I hate to say it -- but I will anyway -- my least favorite from them is "Rubber Band Man". It's too silly of a song from a group that also did 1-5 above.

those are both great songs Karen..can't believe i left Could It Be I'm Falling In Love off my list..i was actually listening to the greatest hits cd on saturday..good times :)

A guy called Doug Parkinson did a great cover here of "I'll Be Around" so I like that song too, but his version :)

I love 'Could it be I'm falling in love' ! The strings, the horns , everything...my favourite part is the instrumental after the 2nd verse,amazing music

My favorite, I think is "They Just Can't Stop It (Games People Play) followed by "Cupid/I've Loved You For A Long Time"
