Subject: I dont know the band! Help?

Written By: lovecat on 07/13/04 at 1:35 pm

Hi all-
This is driving me nuts. The song is from the movie ' If these walls could talk 2" and its when Michelle Williams and Cloe Seviny dance...the lyrics are something like...

baby, I want you to want me
the way that i want you
the way that it should be

Its kind of a folkish lovesong and its driving me nuts! Anyone know it?

I think that would be Lobo, "I'd Love You to Want Me" :)

You guys may not be old enough... this was a band called "Bread" with David Gates.  They had a LOT of other hits that were in this same genre.

Sorry, Floyd and Howard, but it's 2 points to gemini. ;)
Sounds like Lobo to me, too.

Bread is close with "Baby I'm-A Want You", but not a complete match.

:) ;D

I think Floyd and Howard should have to spend a week cleaning up after a dog named Boo. ::)
Let's keep those Pooper Scoopers handy!  ;D
