How Do You Do

Sunshine, BTW, was already receiving lots of airplay in November 1971, I remember quite distinctly.

'Everybody Plays The Fool' (an all-time favourite of mine...), followed by 'Precious And Few'...

...both of which were criminally ignored here...!

'Everybody Plays The Fool'. It wasn't ignored. We can only vote for one song. Now if we could vote for three...

If they were ignored, how did you happen to hear or know about "Everybody Plays The Fool" ?  ???

Right...how long have you got?!!

Long story (hopefully) very short...back in the late 80s/early 90s when the modern music was getting very dull to my ears, I began tuning into one of our very first 'Gold' stations (yes, it took us Brits all that time!), and there was a fantastic show on every Saturday evening which used to play not only the British hits from a given month and year, but also the American equivalents back to back...(sadly, this imaginative type of programming didn't last - and now they just churn out the same old material...)

Naturally, this intrigued me, and before I knew it, I was in possession of a 'Whitburn' and  was catching up on all these 'lost' hits before I could blink...I don't know - natural curiosity? Just made a change from hearing the usual stuff - no matter how good it was...

...or p'raps I'm just a sucker for a good song...!!

Blimey...that'd be a list or several, zcrito...!! It could quite feasibly run into hundreds...

Best to have a look back at the last several threads (and presumably more to come), you'll soon discover what I like and what did nothing here...
