I picked "Rock Your Baby" (George McCrae), followed by Rock 'N' Roll Fantasy (Bad Company).  Good stuff!  :)

I have always like Rock On. Michael Daminan did an ok version of it in the 80s but there is nothing like the orginal-David Essex.

AGAIN! Karen, did you have the 45rpm? I liked taping side "A" and then mixing side "B"....of course later I found the actual 6 plus minute version :D

Well...I was only 8 years old when the song came out, so "no" I did not have the 45.  ;)

Rock the Boat by the Hues Corporation. It's considered the earliest disco song.

I'm a bit confused with your answer here, bj26.  The idea was to pick one of the songs listed above that has the word "Rock" in its title.  ???

Well, you caught me, ok my fave Rock word song isn't on the list - Rock me on the Water - Jackson Brown (I've always been the non-conformist ::)

My answer had to be David Essex, Rock On.  I remember seeing him on Top Of The Pops in that leather jumpsuit and thinking :o golly! :P
I saw him at the London Victoria way back in 1975 - my first concert!

There are several in your list I like but I took "Other".

How about "Life Is A Rock (But The Radio Rolled Me)" - Reunion  :)

My uncle had the LP when it first came out (he must have been one of the few...!), and that had the full undiluted version...for countless memories alone, 'RYB' gets my vote...

As an 'other' (although this is tenuous, but it does have the word in the title) is 'Eagle Rock' by Daddy Cool - a huge Austrailian hit which done sod all anywhere else...superb song, and well worth finding - (once again, thanks to FB, etc. etc...!!)

Good choice Paul - I'm glad to hear that Fuss is educating you!!  Eagle Rock is always the song that gets EVERYONE on the dancefloor. :)
