Blondie and/or the Ramones (wasn't up on the real underground groups of the time and there were bunches of them)!

The Clash - there can surely be no argument that they were the greatest punk band to emerge from the 1970s.
Their output transcended the genre.

well, I loved Devo -didn't realize Blondie was considered punk - but liked Blondie, too.
