Subject: Obscure late 70s/80's song
Written By: Marla on 09/07/04 at 9:45 am
Hi there,
I've actually posted this question in the 80s category, but just in case it's from the late 70s, I thought I'd post it here as well. Has anyone heard of a song with the chorus of (and I hope I have the lyrics right): "Moments in time, live forever in my mind...moments in time ____________...moments like this". The words "Hey hey, oh yeah" are sung in the background of the song, and are repeated again near the end as "Hey hey, oh yeah, she's my baby, hey, oh yeah". It has kind of a 50's flavor (and sounds like a George Harrison-style song). It's a male singing it, with I think both male and female voices singing the chorus and the background. I did a lyric search and it hit on The Alarm's song Moments in Time, but unfortunately that's not the right song. Sorry for such vague information to go on. Any ideas? It's driving me nuts that I can't find out what the name of this song is and who sings it. Thanks!
-Marla :)

I guess the really important question is: Marla, WHERE did you hear this song ? Australia, Europe, Canada or the good ol' US of A ??

Well, I heard it on an oldies radio station here in Canada in the late 80's/early 90's. The reason I believe it's an eighties song is I had posted this question on a different website, and I did get a response from someone who said they had this song on an eighties compilation tape that they had, but unfortunately they didn't know who performed it as the tape wasn't labelled. I asked this person if they could make a copy of the song for me, or even send me more lyrics so I could do another search, and they never responded back to me. Frustrating! It's a great song, with an upbeat tempo to it. It will be a miracle if I ever find someone again who has heard of it...

Sorry but it doesn't appear you had any luck with your question here or at top40db.net.
Have you tried:

(if you have already and didn't get an answer, try "bumping" your question back to the top of the heap **)
** send it back up on a weekday, more people will see it then.
