Subject: Need to find song before I go insane!!!!!Not much to go on.

Ihave been trying to find this song from I believe the 1970's it could go up as far as 1980. I don't know the name of it or even who sings it. It sounds sorta like a neal Diamond type melody but it is deffinately a woman that sings it or at least the last part that I know of. All I can remember of it is the ending that just goes simply take me away, take me away, take me away. And it is almost so soft at the end she could be doing it without music. PLEASE HELP ME. there are a few songs that I am trying to put together and they helped me to get through a really rough time in my teen years when i was locked up. that was one of them but it has been so long since I have heard it that I forgot it and shame to say who sings it even. i believe it is about a shattered love and that is all I can remember.Corinth. :o
