Subject: How about a song lyrics game?

Written By: Lillbrown on 10/28/04 at 1:30 am

I am starting this in each era.  I will post a phrase from a song from the 70's and everyone must guess the song and artist.  The only rule is that whomever guesses correctly can post the next one.

That's 'Police On My Back' originally by Eddy Grant (he of 'Electric Avenue' fame), but more associated with The Clash...

In actual fact, their version is probably more 80s than 70s - but I'm not gonna nitpick...

This is definitely 70s, and the sort of thing I do every morning before going to work...
