Carlin has a great way of making you think about the absurdity of quite ordinary things.
I still have an old Beta tape of a special he did on HBO back in the early '80s- '83 I think. ÂÂ
I get it out from time to time and play it for friends and they all think it's a riot.
Ofcourse, old George is showing his age now, but aren't we all? :(

I would have to go with Steve Martin, because he had the most influence on me (especially when I was a kid).
